Primestream will demonstrate its industry-leading Dynamic Media Management solution integrating workflow from capture, production, and management through to delivery of all types of assets at this year’s DAM LA 2016 (12th-13th November 2016) on Booth #1. During the two-day event, attendees will have the opportunity to learn how organizations like Yahoo, Microsoft, Cisco, NFL, and Vice Media leveraged Primestream Dynamic Media Management to bridge their facilities and improve digital asset management collaboration.
The show draws a wide range of industries, including: manufacturing, distribution services, film, broadcast, media and finance, business to business and business to consumer, commercial and not-for-profit and some of the best-known brands in the world.
Primestream will also showcase FORK™ v5.5 and Xchange™ v5.5, highlighting integrated Web-tagging, edit-while-capture workflows with XDCAM®, ProRes® and AVC-Intra®, including archival workflows with object-based storage solutions to enable more efficient sports, news, entertainment, and corporate video operations.
Other new solutions on display included Virtual Reality/360 workflows, enhancements to 4K, MXF workflows, and enhanced integration with Adobe® Premiere® Pro Creative Cloud, Avid® Media Composer®, and Apple® Final Cut Pro X®.
Xchange is a Web based, enterprise-ready software platform that offers single and multi-site operations global access to their content and workflows. When combined with the rest of the FORK suite of products, it seamlessly integrates file-based workflows with signal-based infrastructures – giving customers a clear path as they evolve their workflows and facilities over time.
Xchange v5.5 features Workspaces, a new module for easily building and customizing the Graphical User Interface (GUI) based on how you need to work. These new GUIs can then be shared among various teams based on their workflow needs to make working more efficient. Add value to your content with Workspaces’ built-in metadata tagging engine that integrates with metadata sources such as Associated Press(AP)’s industry-leading metadata platform for professionals to add accurate, comprehensive, richly detailed data, designed specifically for use by news publishers.
Xchange v5.5 includes support for new Equirectangular Virtual Reality/360 workflows by enabling the media playback, review, and Spatial/360 markers for highlighting areas of interest in a 360° space. Content inside Xchange can also be used in the Adobe Premiere Pro CC VR for editing, including previewing and output of playback-ready VR content. Third-party plugins allow editors to use Virtual Reality goggles to view 360 content on the Premiere Pro timeline while they work.
Primestream is also introducing project-centric workflows – enabling users and teams to create, share and collaborate on post-production projects inside Xchange, or via the Xchange panel within Adobe Premiere Pro CC. Users can now organize raw footage, or final edited programs with different languages inside Adobe Premiere Pro, easily switching between proxy and high-res source material for effective remote editing.
